After graduating with her B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia, Megan managed her frequent location changes mandated by her husband’s military career via working in a variety of interior design functions in a variety of locations both overseas and in the U.S. As her experience evolved she became passionate about residential design and felt the itch to do more architectural work. As a result she went back to school and graduated from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning with her Masters in Architecture with High Distinction. At graduation, Megan was awarded the George G. Booth Traveling Fellowship, which gave her the opportunity to study in Havana, Cuba.
Megan believes the best way to become an exceptional designer is to travel the world and to surround yourself with motivated people. To this end she is excited to be part of Meadowlark’s design-build team.
Megan is actively pursuing her architect’s license and, in the little free time she has left, she enjoys cooking, sailing, and riding around town in her sidecar motorcycle with her husband driving and her three dogs in the sidecar with her!
