As the son of a landscape architect, Jeremy has fond memories growing up and sketching endlessly with his landscape architect father. After high school, Jeremy joined the United States Marine Corps, eventually specializing in engineering and construction in remote locations. After a stint in the State Department protecting political dignitaries (the Clintons and Madeleine Albright, to name a few), Jeremy came back to Michigan to fulfill his life’s ambition to become an architect. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Michigan’s Taubman School of Architecture and Urban Planning.
Jeremy describes himself as a creative artist with an engineer’s mind and has worked professionally for the UM Architecture, Engineering and Construction Department, Lincoln Poley Architects and A.R. Brouwer before joining Meadowlark in 2014. Jeremy since then has started his own design firm, but still works with Meadowlark on remodels and new homes, and we proudly count him as one of our own.
An extrovert with a contagious positive outlook, Jeremy loves bicycling, running and staying fit so he can keep up with his 10 year-old daughter.
