LEED® for Homes (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, a non-profit trade organization. LEED® for Homes provides independent, rigorous, third-party verification that a house was built or remodeled using best practices aimed at improving energy and water efficiency, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, improving indoor air quality, protecting natural resources, reducing long-term environmental impacts, reusing materials and resources, and encouraging local sustainable product sources.
Meadowlark Builders has LEED® for Homes certification, (or is pending LEED® for Homes certification), on many of our projects. What’s in it for customers? Knowing their home has been fully tested and certified to be one of the most efficient homes in the nation.
Project management and the sub-contractors used were top rate. We always knew what was happening.
I chose Meadowlark based on their reputation and their responsiveness. I love the outcome
They were (and are) a pleasure to work with. From the in-house design through construction and into warranty repairs (hey, they happen) they are always quick to respond, polite, and operate with high standards.
Meadowlark completely reconfigured the living/dining/kitchen space in our condo. A total transformation that gave us the house of our dreams!
